Rosie Dub is the author of two novels, Flight (Harper Collins) and Gathering Storm (Penguin), which is being adapted for screen. She is currently working on an allegorical novel, The Wayfarer and a narrative non-fiction book, The Alchemy of Story, a study of the transformative power of story.
Rosie works as a mentor, manuscript assessor and teacher of creative writing. She has completed a BA in Writing at the University of Technology in Sydney, an MA in Writing at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK and a PhD at Swinburne University in Melbourne. For four years she worked as a Creative Writing Fellow at Aberystwyth University in Wales, supervising PhD students. She also teaches on the online MA in Writing program at Swinburne University in Melbourne.
Rosie is the facilitator of Centre for Story (Centre for Story), a platform for reimagining ourselves and our world through story. She shares her research into the nature of story and the role it plays as an evolutionary tool for individuals and society, in her blog and in the wide range of workshops and courses she runs in the UK and Australia.
