Place. Life on Earth. The more-than-human world.
Since May this year, 23 Tasmanian poets have been working with one specific idea: that poetry can contribute to a deeper cultural valuing of the world we are part of. With readings by several of the 23 poets involved in The More Than Human Poetry Project, this event is for remembering where we are, where we have come from, and what we might wish to take with us into the future.
Who are the More Than Human Poetry Project?
This session will include an introduction to the Project by founder/coordinator Kristen Lang, and poetry readings and discussion with contributors: Jane Williams, Helga Jermy, Nancy Corbett, Kim Nielsen-Creeley, Anne Collins and Adrienne Eberhard.
Find out about the participants and presenters in this session, and its partner on Sunday, ‘Writing for a World on the Edge‘.
