Briony Kidd is a Tasmanian film and theatre maker, critic and commentator and teaches screenwriting at the University of Tasmania. She’s on the board of the WIFT Australia, which works towards achieving gender equality in the Australian screen industry. In addition, she’s a film programmer and is the co-founder and director of Stranger With My Face International Film Festival, an acclaimed event focusing on diverse perspectives in dark genre filmmaking.
